“The Role Of Obedience”

James 1:21-25

God has given us all the POWER we need to live a full and happy life.  Sadly, most people never really experience it  because they fail to trust  and obey.  This morning we’re going to consider “The Role Of Obedience”  in accessing God’s Power.

Must have Faith in God’s Word – James 1:21

v The Bible is the inspired  Word of God – 2 Peter 1:20-21;  2 Tim. 3:16-17 

v We must trust  the Bible – I Thessalonians 2:13;  Acts 17:11

Faith without Obedience is Powerless – James 1:22-24

v Do not merely listen to the Word – James 2:14-17

v We must do what it says – Hebrews 5:11-14

You will be Blessed in what You DO – James 1:25

v God’s ways work!

v God blesses  obedience!
