The Problem

ü They had turned the Temple into a market place  – John 2:13-14

ü They had lost their respect for God  – John 2:16

The Passion of Jesus

ü His righteous indignation  – John 2:15-16

ü His zeal for God  – John 2:17

The Practical Application

ü It teaches us to take God seriously!

ü It teaches us to purify ourselves

ü It teaches us that there will be a Day of reckoning
