“The Promise of Living Water”

John 7:37-44

The people are divided about who Jesus is and what they should do with Him. On the last day of the Feast Jesus stands and in a loud voice invites  the people to come to Him and receive “The Promise of Living Water”.

The Invitation to Come & Drink

v If anyone is thirsty – John 7:37;  4:10

v Let him come to Me and drink – John 7:37; Matthew 11:28-30

The Promise of Living Water

v The Gift of the Holy Spirit – John 7:38-39;  Acts 2:38-39

v The Fruit of the Holy Spirit – John 7:38; Galatians 5:22-24

The Response of the People

v They were divided – John 7:40-44
